So here I am with another exchange sister, Birgitta, in Amsterdam. Yes, I made it to Amsterdam, but there was a lot of activity in between Australia and the Netherlands! I plan to start posting my journals as blogs soon. Apparently, Malaysia blocked blogs due to the political environment there and from Turkey on in Europe, the governments are limiting blog sites while they try to tax them! At any rate, I have much to tell you!
Home now with my daughter's wedding just a week away. I am coping with jetlag and starting to reflect and process all that I experienced on my world trip. Posting my blogs now will help me do that.

ReplyDeleteWelcome home! I have been continually thrilled for you all summer as I first enjoyed your blog reports and later the one-liner-captioned photos you e-mailed. Thank you so much. Early on, as your blogs started getting longer and packed with more & more news each day, I suddenly thought, "Whoa! Information overload!" LOL :) I had fun getting out my copy of "My First Atlas" (simplified, cartoon-like, colorful) and getting my bas-relief globe down from the closet shelf & dusted off, to better follow your journey. My heart just overflows with happiness for you that you got to see all those places - and people - in person. And you so clearly appreciated, even relished, each new experience, each new place. But of course you did! That is so YOU! Thank you for taking us along!
